March 26, 2010 TAMPA, FLORIDA - Andrew McCumber testified in front of Florida State Senate’s Judiciary Committee on behalf of the Florida Health Care Association regarding Senate Bill (SB) 2034. Mr. McCumber provided testimony about the benefits and usefulness of arbitration for both sides to a dispute. He encouraged the Senate not to pass this bill, which would effectively prohibit the use and enforcement of pre-dispute arbitration agreements in long-term care settings and expand the possibility of frivolous lawsuits.
